Sergio Pradier

I was born in the early summer of 1968, I grew up, and took my first steps in drawing and painting in Roque Sáenz Peña, Chaco, My training there was what is said at the Academy, and is something that I appreciate greatly. Ended the year 85 Jr High, next traveled to Rosario, first to study political science, just months after I signed up to join the 87 in the College of Fine Arts, Faculty of Humanities and Arts at UNR. In the 1st year I discovered sculpture, Auque my first experiences were not what I would call "optimal" conscience would just years later what it meant for my sculpture, something that my last teacher of my childhood I had seen many years before, without I could understand it then. Then came the years of boiling over at the school. Group Training Porka Chiva, with Adrian Del Grosso, Mario Godoy, Eugenio Castelli, Marcelo Marchesini, and me. Our first show in the courtyard of the Wood gathering of students of Fine Arts in Mendoza. Peñas, visits to sample every week. With many twists and turns, many agreements and disagreements and some abudante especially food and drink we reached today, I knew the work of Roberto Rosas and with it, and soldering iron. They then had to make a living, different jobs, mostly as a waiter, blacksmith and then finally into business for himself, always with art for free time and always without a suitable place. Just in 2007 I found t. ------------------------------- -------------------------------- Nací en el comienzo del verano de 1968, me crié, y di mis primero pasos en el dibujo y la pintura en Roque Sáenz Peña, Chaco, Mi formación allí fue lo que se dice de Academia, y es algo que agradezco enormemente. Terminado el secudario en el año 85, al siguiente viajé a Rosario, primero para estudiar Ciencias Políticas, apenas unos meses después me anoté para ingresar en el 87 en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de la Facultad de Humanidades y Artes de la UNR. En el 1er año descubrí la escultura, auque mis primeras experiencias no fueron lo que llamaría "óptimas", recién años despues tomaría conciencia lo que significaba para mi la escultura, algo que mi última profesora de mi infancia había visto muchos años antes, sin que yo pudiera entenderla entonces. Luego vinieron los años de mas ebullición en la Escuela. La formación el Grupo Porka Chiva, con Adrián Del Grosso, Mario Godoy, Eugenio Castelli, Marcelo Marchesini, y yo. Nuestra primera muestra en el patio de la Madera, encuentro de estudiantes de Bellas Artes en Mendoza. Peñas, visitas a muestras todas las semanas. Con muchas idas y venidas, tantos desacuerdos y algunos acuerdos y sobre todo abudante comida y bebida llegamos hasta la actualidad, Conocí la obra de Roberto Rosas y con él, el hierro y la soldadura. Luego hubo que ganarse la vida, distintos trabajos, de mozo mayormente, luego en herrería y finalmente en un negocio propio, siempre con el arte para los tiempos libres y siempre sin un lugar adecuado. Recién en 2007 encontré el lugar para poder armar un taller pequeño pero acogedor. Eso me permitió trabajar despues de algunos años de inactividad.
