I am a painter working from my studio/gallery in Wickham, in the Portsmouth/Southampton area of England. I am well known by many as the "Wave Man" because of the large, multiple canvas, "surf wave" paintings that began when I was the resident artist at a Portsmouth Gallery in 2001. I have sold my wave paintings to many parts of the world but, despite the success of my nautical work, it would be wrong to think that the sea and boats are all that I can paint. I have undertaken many other subjects and love painting rivers, people and the countryside.
